Faith, Marriage, Motherhood, Homeschooling, Essential oils, Herbs, and Holistic Living
July has been a major month down in our family's history. After several months of deliberation, prayers, and a bit of sadness, I had to come to the realization that although some months are wonderful in my photography business, there will always be a handful of "drier" months each year as long as I am in such a rural area. So after a ton of pondering it only made sense to dust off my degree's from the School of Natural healing and resume wellness classes. I've always tried to keep up on current science released so I guess they weren't terribly dusty! So far it's been amazing. I've chosen to use Young Living as the company to suggest to people and after just four weeks I made my first rank with the company this month! But there's been an even bigger change for our family. After 6 or 7 years of deliberation, my husband stepped back from his 20 year long job as a farmhand. It was very hard for him to make this decision because his boss, Phil, had always been such a great boss and John looks up to him so much. But the time had come to step out, and John will now be working part time doing carpentry, and of course taking every furniture and cabinet job that comes his way! In the fall, spring, and haying season he may still work as a farmhand though. It's certainly a time of financial unsurity for us as we have taken this leap of faith! But we are doing our best to cast our fears on the Lord and trust He will provide work for us. In the meantime we are exploring every viable option we can find. We are even looking into jobs and homes in the Kansas City area as there would be more work down that way.
Such an exciting time! What does the Lord have in store for us? We don't know, but we shall see!
