Faith, Marriage, Motherhood, Homeschooling, Essential oils, Herbs, and Holistic Living
It's been awhile since I posted last. It's been a bustling past couple months though. Housework, my job, tending to little ones, and school lessons in combination with the tiring allergy season has left me with little time to spare. We recently studied Mexico in school. It was a great time to make tortilla's! I used to make homemade tortilla's from scratch all the time. But the more kids we've had the less time I've had. You just cannot beat homemade tortilla's. Store bought aren't ever as good! This last couple months have been hard. I recently had to take a week off everything just to get through two months worth of laundry that kept building up despite my efforts to knock it out. Nobody ever told me having, homeschooling, and providing for a large family could be this hard. Or this lonely. They also didn't say it would be as wonderful as it can get at other times. Little by little the kids are able to take on more to help lighten the load. I've slowly been getting better about letting the kids help. School days have been wonderful lately. I know I love our new curriculum more then the kids, but that's only because I have the added bonus of watching them as they learn. But school day's have been long too. Like all jobs, the repetition can get tiresome sometimes. On school day's it's not uncommon for me to have no time for meal prep. I started doing massive cooking days for the month awhile back. It helps. Because of the workload time must be rationed wisely. That's never been an enjoyable talent to this creative soul! I have this verse above my kitchen sink to remind me to keep my eye on the end goal. Signing out for today....and counting my blessings as I go!

Don't ever underestimate the amazing job that you do. You are truly a remarkable lady. Love you. And for what it's worth, it's totally okay to breathe and let some stuff go.
